About Personal Care Management (PCM) agencies
Personal Care Management Agencies are agencies that contract with MassHealth to assist MassHealth members with obtaining and maintaining PCA services by conducting intake and orientation, skills training and evaluation of a member’s need for personal care assistance and in seeking authorization from MassHealth for prior approval of PCA services to meet the individual’s needs.
PCM agencies have specific responsibilities, which are defined in their MassHealth contracts. Click here for additional information about the roles of PCM agencies. All Massachusetts PCM agencies are welcome to access the list of PCAs free of any charge.
